The Sentimental Cospa (a Sentimental Graffiti cosplay event) took
place on April 26, 1998 at the Velfarre Roppongi (a disco). Watanabe
Kaoru (singer of the Sentimental Journey TV series opening and closing
songs) and the Usagi Gumi came as guests for the stage show.

They had limited the ticket sales to 1000, but they probably didn't
sell out. There weren't a thousand people there. It was probably
closer to 500.

Pictures were allowed, but there were some severe restrictions. Only
disposable cameras were allowed, and pictures of the stage show wasn't
allowed. So one can only take pictures of the cosplay.

The stage show started with Kubota Masayoshi talking a little about
Sentimental Journey.

Then Watanabe Kaoru came out to sing Tenshi ni Aitakute, the opening
song to the SJ TV series.

Then after a short talk session, Kaoru sang Keep on Smile, the
ending song.

Then they played a Sentimental Graffiti "dance mix" medley, so
everyone can dance.. This was 16 minutes of the original 12 character
songs plus Tatta Hitotsu no Omoide remixed disco style. It wasn't
bad. (Interesting listening to some of the slower songs with a dance
beat..)

After the dance mix, Kubota Masayoshi came out with Watanabe Kaoru and
they talked for a little bit

Then it was time for the Usagi Gumi show.

The first song was Crescent Moon, by Nishiguchi Yuka, Makishima
Yuki, and Suzuki Urarako. They were all wearing long, white one piece
dresses. Previously, they had worn matching white outfits, but since
it was getting too hot to wear it, they all wore different dresses.

After a short talk, they called the other Usagi Gumi girls. Okada
Junko, Okamoto Asami, and Konno Hiromi came out and asked everyone to
do some of the movements for their song, Itsuka Kitto Ieruhazu. They
taught the crowd the movements for the chorus past, and then sang the
song. When Junko was teaching the hand movements for "donna toki demo"
(also "itsumo itsu demo"), she said it was the same as "omoide wo"
(Toyoshima Machiko's movements for Omoide wo Tometa Mamade).

Junko, Asami, and Hiromi were wearing matching outfits, which were
"cheerleader style" (according to Asami). They wore a pink T-shirt
with red sleeves, and a colorful checkered mini-skirt (or shorts).
Junko had her hair tied in two pony tails off the back, to the sides.
Asami had her hair in a single pony tail.

After the song, the other Usagi Gumi girls came back onto the stage,
and they all talked for a few minutes. Junko asked the others which
school outfit they would like to wear if they were going to cosplay.
Hiromi said that she wants to wear Rurika's, Asami also said Rurika,
Yuka said Yuu, and Junko said Honoka.

Then Kubota Masayoshi came onto the stage, and they talked about some
of the current Sentimental Graffiti things that were going on, and
planned for the near future.

Then there was a break, and after the break there was a cosplay
contest.

The twelve official Sentimental Graffiti cosplayers came onto the
stage, and stood across the back of the stage. The contestants were
called out one character at a time, with around 4 to 6 cosplayers per
character (from South to North). The judge (Mr. Kubota) chose one
winner per character.

After the contest, they played the Sentimental Graffiti dance mix
again, and the official cosplayers danced on the stage when the song
of their character was playing. Since they danced one by one, when the
next girl came onto the stage, the previous girl hugged her (and some
of them even kissed).
