I'll post the information/event reports from each of the booths
separately.. This one is for the Hudson booth.

general info
------------
Hudson held an event on 3/20 to announce a set of seiyuu trading cards
(called ColleCarA [short for Collection Card Assortment])
which will go on sale in June.
There is a trading card boom going on right now with just about every
popular game and anime releasing trading cards. This boom has come
to the seiyuu world.

The guests for this announcement event were Kingetsu Mami,
Takahashi Miki, and Mieno Hitomi.
They talked a little about the shooting of pictures for the cards.
All pictures for the cards are new, previously unreleased pictures.

The initial set of cards will feature Kingetsu Mami, Takahashi Miki,
Mieno Hitomi, Iwao Junko, and Matsumoto Rica.

Hudson passed out a sample set of cards on 3/20, and sold some
plastic card cases with a picture of the seiyuu on it (400 yen each).
These cards and cases will not be sold anywhere else, and the pictures
that they used were not the new pictures taken for the real cards.

On 3/21 and 3/22, Hudson held seiyuu talk events for Ginga Ojousama
Densetsu Yuna. The guests for each event were one seiyuu and
Akitaka Mika, the creator of Yuna.

3/21 10:00 Yokoyama Chisa, Akitaka Mika
     13:00 Touma Yumi, Akitaka Mika
3/22 10:00 Takahashi Miki, Akitaka Mika
     13:00 Takahashi Miki, Akitaka Mika

Each day, they gave away Yuna cards to the first 250 people who came
to the booth. There was a mad rush to the Yuna booth the instant they
opened the doors to the game show at 9:30. 250 is not a lot, so even
if you lined up for 10 hours, I don't think you could have gotten it.

some details from the Trading Card event
----------------------------------------
The guests for the Trading Card event (1998.03.20, 10:15 - 10:45)
were Kingetsu Mami, Takahashi Miki, and Mieno Hitomi.

Mami said that she didn't know the difference between "menko" and cards.

[menko = a traditional Japanese game where you throw circular or
square cards on the ground to flip over the opponent's cards]

Miki thought that it was "training" cards, instead of "trading" cards.
She wondered how one trained with cards..

Hitomi said that she wants to play/trade with her own cards.

The concepts for the trading card sets were:

Mami: Her daily life, including the "behind the scenes" of her work.
She also became a cameraman, and took pictures.

Miki: A "kisekae ningyou" (dress-up doll), and wore many clothes.
There were pictures of Miki in jeans, that she hardly ever wears,
and this was probably the first time that she wore jeans in public.

Hitomi: Pictures in Guam.
Hitomi went to Guam to take pictures for her new single, so she took
a lot for the cards too.

Miki said that she doesn't appear in the color pages of magazines that
much, so she's happy to be able to have this set of cards.

Hitomi said that she wore a pink Anna Millers outfit for some pictures.

some details from the Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna event
--------------------------------------------------------
The guests for the Yuna event (1998.03.21, 10:00 - 10:30) were
Yokoyama Chisa and Akitaka Mika.

Chisa, Mika, and the emcee talked about the Yuna series.
They talked about the Yuna radio show, but they said that it will
end this month.

The Playstation version of the Yuna game "Yuna Final Edition" was
announced. It's a tactical adventure game (adventure plus simulation).

They are going to make a set of Yuna trading cards. They aren't
finished making all of the cards yet, so they didn't have any
samples on display yet. There will be 252 cards in the set.

Mika said that it takes him about one day to draw one card.
He studies fashion magazines to think of the character costumes.

They were selling Yuna card cases (400 yen each) [but these were
all sold out on the first day].
Also they passed out special Yuna cards to the first 250 people
who came to the booth each day.

There was a life-sized panel of Yuna, and Chisa signed it.
Chisa said that she had worn the Yuna battle outfit before
at an event, but she will never wear it again..

At the end of the event, they passed out 30 signature boards
(10 by Chisa and 20 by Mika [with illustrations of Yuna]) as presents.

The Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna comic will start in Comic Gao.
Mika said that the first story will be a very shoujo manga style story.
