a) no timer on the MD recorder (never seen one of these)
b) it was still in my backpack
c) record many different stations on Friday, and I have to be up
   to switch the channels

I long for the day I can buy a programmable MD recorder with a built in
radio on which I can program several radio programs on several radio
stations to record over several days.  I would buy two of these...
