Michael, I can't believe that you haven't seen Key the Metal Idol. I
figured that all seiyuu fans would like it. It's got a decent cast.
Key the Metal Idol does NOT have the opening song originally in English.
I'm sure the English tune is just another Viz invention.
I never watched the Viz dub of Key, but I know somebody who has. From
what I heard about it, it sounds like a total hack job. Examples
provided upon request.
Also, if you get any Viz subtitled tape past Vol. 1, the OP/ED song
lyrics are the "sing-a-long" lyrics. I'm not even sure if you can call
it a "liberal" translation. It's mostly made up lyrics that look good.
This is something that I don't understand. Why would somebody want to
read fake song lyrics?
