I can think of a couple of reasons:

1) They have "abnormal" schedules, so evening and/or weekend dates are
problematical for their intended partners.

2) They are much more outspoken than the "traditional woman" stereotype
that IMHO many Japanese men still want as a wife.

3) They perceive having so many fanboys hanging around them that anybody
who shows any interest in them are perceived as stalkers.

4) I perceive the seiyuu business as being fairly "inbred" in the same
way that American movie stars tend to marry other movie stars.  If that's
true, there probably aren't enough male seiyuu to go around.  (Then again,
at the seiyuu school I went to, the male-female ratio was 2:1, so that
may change in the near future)
