I was trying to be a little too cute. Thought I had a bit of a margin, without calculating that the event ended on a Saturday. ^_^; The last 30 min score was nearly the same as the hour before! I was expecting it to be a few hundred less, because that’s the way it always is. > Looking at the score distribution, there were > around 1000 people just 200 points (one game) > below the cutoff line. There were some severe lag problems at least 15 min out. A friend of mine couldn’t log in at all (stuck at the home screen), but luckily he had 62.2k. I managed to get in, but lost a 10 LP song (lag at the end of the song and then errored back to the home screen) and a 25 LP one (lagged before the match started, but took my LP all the same). Then, because of the delays, couldn’t play another 2 songs I was planning on. That’s over 1000 pts! I wonder how many of those people were in the same boat I was. > | I'm going to play it very safe and aim for 61k, > | but that's because I still regret the last event. :P > > I took your advise and went over 61K. I barely made it this time (60.6k). Phew! Purposely started a game at 14:59 just to see where I was, ranking wise. Pretty much at the same place I was at when the final scores came out. --Tim
