(^_^; Event Okashi na Tea Party Location Club Ex (Shinagawa) Date 2003.06.15 Time 14:00 - 16:00 17:30 - 19:30 Cost 4800 yen Guests Inoue Kikuko Nagai Noa - Event report version 0.5 by Hitoshi Doi, 2003.06.17 There were two "tea party" events by Inoue Kikuko at Club Ex in Shinagawa on June 15, 2003, 14:00 and 17:30. Each event was around 2 hours, and Nagai Noa appeared as a guest. I had a baseball game earlier in the day so I was only able to attend the evening session. The event took place in a large circular room, and there were many round tables on the floor, with four seats each. All seats were reserved, and everyone had cake and tea. This was included in the price of the ticket. In addition to the table seats, there were seats along the wall, and there were balcony booths. All seats were the same price. For the 17:30 session, the cake was a fancy chocolate cake with lots of fruits on top. Since I bought my ticket "late", I sat along the wall. But the view wasn't that bad, as the wall seats were a little higher than the table seats. The events flowed as follows. - talk by Kikuko (about one hour) - several songs by Kikuko (about 15 minutes) - Caramel Police skit by Kikuko and Noa (about 30 minutes) - a song by Kikuko - final mesages by Kikuko and Noa [skipping the Kikuko only parts.. (^_^;] Caramel Police is a character in a drama (or something like that) in Kikuko's current radio shows, Caramel Town and Caramel Heights. Noa appeared as a new girl who just moved in. She was wearing a black and white (or maybe dark blue) one piece with an apron over it (a waitress type outfit). Noa had bought some cakes for Kikuko, but when she opened the box, she discovered that it was empty! Somebody had stolen the cakes. Then Noa sang one song (a new song called "Hello"), as Kikuko left the stage to change clothes. This was a very typical idol song. Then Kikuko came back onto the stage wearing a pink police uniform, with a very short (for Kikuko) skirt. Kikuko stayed on the stage, and Noa went around the crowd, reading "clues" (pieces of paper taped on the bottom of the tables) to find the thief. I think this was done to make Noa go around the crowd, so all of the Kikuko fans could get a good look at her. It turned out that Kikuko had eaten the cakes herself. At the end, Noa came onto the stage again to say good-bye and also mention that the LaLaLu final live will take place on 6/22. Kikuko said that she really likes LaLaLu. The LaLaLu members came to watch the 17:30 session. They were sitting in the second floor balcony. -- Hitoshi Doi (LaLaLu FC #49, Cutie Pai FC #2, Itou Asuka FC #4) " this space for rent " http://www.usagi.org/~doi/ doi@win.ne.jp
