It was funny when Sebastien, the Frenchman, asked if I was "Henry Chen." I do pronounce my name that way, but it's written in French (my mother was a French major in college). > It would be best if Sebastien would notify us in advance himself. I could read some of the Japanese being used, but I was unable to type efficiently in it (except in katakana using character set codes). I asked if English would be okay, and Sebastien said it was fine, so the majority of my comments were in English. I was the only one typing in English in any significant amount, and I didn't say very much, so I don't think anyone should have been scared off. Later in my conversation, I began using an online Japanese-English dictionary to write the kanji and kana that I wanted to use. Not efficient, but a whole lot easier than trying to type katakana with ISO codes, and definitely less confusing than a translation program would have been. I found it very funny how some of the Japanese people in the chatroom were so surprised that there were so many non-Japanese people there who could read Japanese. > | > But next time please don't mention my name. > | > | Your name?? O_O? I'm sorry but i don't understand... ^^U Do you mean > | that you don't want me to mention you on my 'greetings' or you don't > | want me to call you by your name ("Hitoshi")?? ^_^? > > I wasn't talking about you. > Someone mentioned my name on the 2ch chat. > I don't want my name being mentioned over there, > or other public places in Japan. This is how it happened. Someone in attendance told Sebastien that he had come because he received your (he said "Doi" in kanji) e-mail (all I said was that I got "HD's" e-mail). So, someone else asked in Japanese, "Who is Doi-san?" Trying to be helpful, I pointed him to your home page at www.win.ne.jp. That was the full extent of you being mentioned in the chat. Sorry about that. I won't do it again. > In this ML, you can do just about whatever you want. This way, Doi-san can build up a list of things you've done with which he can later blackmail you. @_^; Going on with the "do just about whatever you want" concept, does anyone here have Voogie's Angel CD singles they want to sell (cheaply)? I'm still collecting Voogie stuff. Doi-san's radio drama CD set was just the beginning. :) Again, sorry I mentioned your home page. Live long and prosper. Henri Chen
