According to the software, VCD format mpeg is 115Kbit (or somewhere around there). I am using 150Kbit. I tried 200Kbit and 300Kbit, but my computer couldn't keep up with it with the sound.. (the sound got out of sync) If I do complete TV episodes, I will probably drop down to VCD level. But for short seiyuu clips, I want to stay as high as possible. The mpeg I made plays back in mpeg_play (without sound though), on Solaris (both SPARC and Intel). | What MPEG encoder box is this? By I/O Data (Japanese company). It might be an OEM of some other company. I'm not sure. -- Hitoshi Doi Toshi Nibunnoichi half a UFO catcher doll, half a cel 801 tactical training squadron http://www.win.ne.jp/~doi/ doi@win.ne.jp
