The emcees (and producers) were Tanabe Miri, Kimura Ikue, and Sakurai Sara. But this was a "song and dance only" event. This was the first Kira Kira Melody without skits and talk. They also announced that there will be a Kira Melo CD going on sale 8/30, of Daisuki, coupled with Pride. It will be a CD extra, with video clips of the girls singing Daisuki. This video was taken after the event ended. The event flowed as follows. * [video] rehearsal scenes * [parapara] Mickey Mouse Club Song (First and Second Class) * Kira Melo theme song (First and Second Class) * N'est ce pas (Heart Chu) * Soba ni Itai (Dear Me) * [medley] ? The video showed many clips of the girls during rehearsals. After the video, all of the girls came onto the stage. The upper part of the stage was the normal stage. The lower part of the stage was built up with some boards, as the normal stage wasn't big enough to hold all of the girls. Even with the lower part of the stage, it couldn't hold all 63 girls. So some of the girls were standing on the floor. The first "song" wasn't a song. It was a parapara dance! All the girls did a parapara dance to the Mickey Mouse Club Song. Then they all sang the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen Theme Song. All the girls left the stage, and after a short while, Heart Chu came back to sing N'est ce pas. Then Dear Me came onto the stage to sing Soba ni Itai. This Dear Me was the five person version (Mayo, Miri, Tomoe, Fuuko, Ikue). They probably used the five person version because Emiko wasn't there, even though Sara was. The next song was a series of songs by the Second Class students. All of the Second Class students came onto the stage (upper part and lower part), and everyone took turns singing. The songs were as follows: Freedom, Don't Wanna Cry, Overnight Sensation, I'm Proud, Departure, You're My Sunshine, ?, ?, Feel Like Dance. After the Second Class medley, Sawai Natsumi came onto the stage with Minano Fuuko and Hinano Mayo. Natsumi sang Stay With Me, and Fuuko and Mayo were the dancers. Then Sara, Miri, and Ikue came out and danced to some song. They had mikes and sang (yelled) too, but the music track wasn't the karaoke track. The next group was Muteki Palette. There were 7 members, as Takayama Kanako and Shindou Yoko were absent. The "cute" group had Serai Shizuko, Kuwakado Sora, and Mito Yoko. The "big" group had Matsumoto Chiyomi, Ohtsuka Mae, Takase Noriko, and Sakurai Sara. Then they had a medley of idol songs by both the first and second class students. Most of the groups had two first class students and two second class students as the main singers (on the main stage), and several second class students as backup singers/dancers (on the lower stage). The groups quickly rotated on and off the stage. After the medley, Tanabe Miri, Kimura Ikue, and Sakurai Sara came out wearing similar T-shirts, which had komesoudou written on it in kanji. They said they formed the group Komesoudou. Then Heart Chu came out (with some Star Wars BGM), and sang Kira Kira. After Heart Chu was Dear Me (five person version), and they sang Stormy Dune. Then Heart Chu came back onto the stage to announce their solo live, which takes place next week (7/2). They said that they would sing two new songs. One of them is a song that Mieko and Sayaka wrote, and the other is a song which would be the Heart Chu theme song. They also said that the Heart Chu T-shirt is on sale now, and they wanted everyone to wear it to their live next week. The next song was the new Kira Kira Melody Gakuen group song. All the students (both First Class and Second Class) came back onto the stage to sing Pride. The main singers were Hinano Mayo, Tsuchiya Mieko, and Nagai Nobuko, in a triangular formation at the center. Mayo had the first solo part, Mieko had the second one, and Nobuko had the third one. Some of the other First Class students had mikes too. (I don't remember if any of the Second Class students had mikes.) After this song, everyone left the stage, except for Heart Chu. The next song was Tururu Daishouri. Then all of the Second Class students came back onto the stage to sing Odoru Houkago. Before the final song, they announced that there will be a CD of Daisuki (coupling with Pride) going on sale 8/30, for 1500 yen. It will be a "CD extra" containing a promotion video of Daisuki! Then they all sang Daisuki, and both the First Class and Second Class students did the same dance. At the Tokyo Game Show, the Second Class had done a different, simpler dance, and the Second Class students had never sung Daisuki at their events so far. Maybe they will sing Daisuki at the Second Class events from now on. The last parapara dance was the Mickey Mouse Club song again, and all the girls left the stage after doing the parapara. Then there was a call for an encore. After a while, a video started playing (projected onto the wall). It was a video of Matsumoto Chiyomi leading a call for an encore. (^_^;) Some of the other girls (Nagai Nobuko and others) had pompoms, bells, etc. After a while, all of the girls came back onto the stage. But this time they were all wearing white T-shirts, with their student number printed on the front. They were wearing long training pants, and gym shoes. They did some parapara (or dance) to some English song, and then went onto sing Daisuki. After Daisuki, there was some more parapara, and then all the girls left the stage. There was another call for an encore. But this time the lights went on, and some guys came in front of the stage with a tall ladder. Then one of the staff came out and said that they were going to film the promotion video for Daisuki! The girls (both First Class and Second Class) came out to sing Daisuki again, this time wearing their school uniforms. There were many cameramen, and the staff told the girls to look at the cameras (instead of the crowd) when singing. They sang Daisuki twice. The first time, it was everyone, and the second time, it was just the First Class students. For this "video version" of Daisuki, they changed the singer of one of the solo sections. The usual order is Nobuko, Mieko, Mae, Tomoe, Sara, Sora, Miri, Mayo, Natsumi. But this time Chiyomi replaced Tomoe. (When Tokunaga Ai is in the group, this part is Ai's part.) -- The 63 girls who appeared at this event were: Akami Yukie, Minano Fuuko, Ohgoshi Tomoe, Ohtsuka Mae, Ogura Maiko, Hinano Mayo, Kimura Ikue, Kuwakado Sora, Sawai Natsumi, Sakurai Sara, Shintani Sayaka, Serai Shizuko, Takase Noriko, Takahira Jun, Tanabe Miri, Tsuchiya Mieko, Nagai Nobuko, Matsumoto Chiyomi, Misaki Mami, Mito Yoko (20 from the first class) Akimoto Noe, Akutsu Shiori, Ikee Tomoko, Itou Asuka, Inoue Eri, Eri, Endou Satoko, Ouka Yumi, Ousawa Rena, Ohhashi Risa, Ogata Satoko, Odaki Hisae, Ono Akiko, Kamiya Ruri, Kawasaki Rika, Kanzaki Mayumi, Kimoto Sanana, Kurita Hiroko, Sagami Natsuki, Shiomi Kaoru, Shinohara Emiko, Sukizawa Kanako, Sugiyama Yuka, Sunaga Emi, Senoo Kumi, Taga Yukiko, Takahashi Amika, Nagai Kasumi, Hayashi Akari, Himeno Kaoru, Hirose Momoko, Hiron, Makiguchi Yoko, Mikami Aiko, Misuzu, Mizuta Yuka, Miyawaki Azusa, Murata Eri, Morita Chiaki, Yamada Kayoko, Yamada Satoko, Yoshikawa Yuuya, Washo Kozue (43 from the second class) -- Hitoshi Doi Toshi Nibunnoichi half a UFO catcher doll, half a cel 801 tactical training squadron http://www.win.ne.jp/~doi/ doi@win.ne.jp
