Strangely, in the first two tankoubon I have, the Mermaid stories were 
serialized in Weekly Shounen Sunday.  I do remember that a later story 
(Mermaid's Gaze) was in a Monthly Shounen Sunday Special.

I haven't seen any since. *le sigh* ^_^;;
