desperate for some conversation, i see. ;)  Anyway, I got into anime about 5 
years ago when it was introduced to me by someone. The first anime I saw was 
Tenchi Muyo but was a bit bored with it. Next, I saw Ranma. It totally got me 
interested in anime because of its animation style and its story line. 
Currently, I am not as addicted into anime as i once was, maybe because now 
its just part of everyday life (I have been in japan since march and will be 
leaving the end of july).  Now, i see it as more of an artform than an 
addiction.  Anyway... yeah... thats how i got into anime. ^-^
