I'm sorry to hear you didnt enjoy the movie. But i will  put the movie into
a different light. There is a type of movie in japan where its very dramatic
to the point of being almost weird to me, from my american stand point, it
golrifys the samurai way, honor and bushido and all that stuff. I think this
movie is tring to paridy that. I agree with you that the movie is very
different from the tv show but i think the lack of understand why its funny
is why you didnt enjoy it as much as you could have.Well that just my two
cents take it or leave it.
