Most [Mormons] fall under the categories of; "animation is just for kids,"
"Anime is pornographic," (my wife is one of these) or "Anime is /not/
scripturally based, so it MUST be from the Devil." o.O

You want to have fun? Try explaining "Ranma 1/2" to a Mormon. ^-^
=========

     You could try having them watch NGE and the Eva movies. I'd be willing
to bet that some of these people in question get the shock of their lives.

=========
So here's my question: What do you people SEE in this series?
=========

     Another question to ask... What _don't_ you see?

     You know, full well, that the "laws of the land" American, Japanese, or
wherever, have no place in the world of Anime. It has it's own laws, and for
the most part makes them up as it progresses.

I sense a disturbance in the force...
=========

     If that's your main concern, best to look at the bigger picture.

=========
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like there's going to be a major
flamefest soon? It could be just me being nervous about the list being
so...quiet lately, but my intuition is bugging me about this, and I thought
I'd mention it so any bad feelings don't get out of hand.

=========

     It may just be that your 'notification' has curtailed any type of
flame-war. But I have confidence in this ML having enough tact to be
sensible enough to understand that none of us are even remotely out to get
each other.

     I knw that I may have said a few things, today that are quite flammable,
but they were not intended to be. they only expressed my opinions. whether
or not others wil flame back in return is up to them, but I've said my peace,
so any flames will be dealt with in a _tactful_ manner.
