comes down to the basis of it all, people are still people. I know I had
commented on the silliness of Christianity 'judging' where a person 'goes'
after they die. Maybe I should expound on that and say that the comment
wasn't targeted at anybody. It was targeted at the religion, itself, since
it is the religion that leads its followers to believe such.

I _do_ know that not all Christians are like that. My mother was
Christian. I used to be one. Of course she didn't like it when I had chosen

Buddhism, and she did try to convert me back to Christianity, just like she
tried to convert my father, who was Buddhist, before he died. How my father
and mother "hooked up" I really don't know, and it really doesn't concern
me.<<

Just to start off with, I'm a Christian, many of my friends are
Christian, many of them aren't. This isn't trying to preach to anyone, I'm
just studying Christianity and wanted to make some comments. It says over
and over in the Bible not to judge anyone because not a single person has led
a sinless life besides Jesus. It also says that you should live in the
world, be tempted, have friends that aren't Christian (and not just to
convert them).
About other religions and going to hell, some Christians believe that
because it says in the Bible that the only way to heaven is through Jesus.
That can be taken to mean that you have to believe in Jesus to get there, but
I take it to mean that if Jesus hadn't come and died, we couldn't have made
it into Heaven. Many Christians, including Mother Theresa thought that people
of any religion could go to heaven. The number one rule of the New Testament
is to love everyone unconditionally.
There are people who can take any philosophy or religion and warp it,
and it always seems like those are the people we hear from the most. The
empty barrel always rattles the loudest. Most people who are brought up
Christian never actually learn what it is they're suposed to be believing
from what I've found.

Does anyone know of a good way to get a job in Japan, besides through
JET? I have a BA in English if that helps any.

About the space shuttle, it is very sad. I just get kind of annoyed
that so many people mourn for it and we spend so much money and effort trying
to find out what went wrong. I wish we could use that money to help living
people. Something like 24,000 people die every day from hunger, which we
already have a cure for, not to mention AIDS, cancer, etc.

As for the party, I have Seasons 1-3, the OAVs, the Movies, I can get
season four through Netflix, and misc other tapes and DVDs. Pretty much if
it has Ryouga in it, I probably have it. As for who I am most like, I would
have to say Kasumi, if no one minds.

I think that's enough for now. Akane-san, I think you cursed my
computer. I had this whole big email typed out then it froze and died, so
now you guys get the short version.
