     First off, I just want to say that if anyone says that someone else's 
religion "doesn't make sense" they're _not_ trying to understand it in the 
first place.  People who are like that aren't really worth my time, IMO.
 

     If I read into your post correctly, I take it that you are Buddhist, 
like myself.  You never really came out and said it...  Or maybe you did a 
while back, and just not in that post.
 

     For the most part, I think I've been lucky that I haven't been around 
too many 'ignorant' people.  Then again, not many people know that I'm 
Buddhist (they never ask,) but I've never really come across a person that 
has 'shunned' me when they found out I was Buddhist.

Another situation (to my friend, who is also Christian): One of my Christian 
friends was rather confused about the fate of her Buddhist grandmother.  HER 
Christian friend blatantly said, "Oh, your
 
grandmother's going to hell"... If it was me, I'd slap her, friend or not...

     Me?  I don't know what I'd really do, but I don't think that I'd slap 
the person, friend or not.  Now, if it was someone that repetitively pissed 
me off, then I probably would've smacked them long before an outburst, like 
that...
 

     This next comment may be a bit harsh, but it's how I feel:

     I'm pretty open about all religions.  At least I like to think that I 
am.  I would never be one to turn anyone away even if they were a bit 
'militant' on converting me to their religion...  but my comment is that I 
feel religions that 'decide' what happen to you solely on whether or not you 
believe in their 'God' is pretty silly.
 

     I know I may get a few flames from that comment alone.  Believe me, I'm 
used to them.
