Well when I first got into Ranma, I rented a few from blockbuster and was 
extremely surprised at the nudity. I had no idea there was cartoon nudity in 
anything, muchless this anime I was watching (because until then I had only 
watched Sci-fi channle anime and they cut out the nudity). so I didnt want my 
parents to see it cause I thought Id get into trouble. As I found out later 
that day (saturday) when I returned home my parents had watched them to see 
what they were like and (oh ya break in the email right quick, it was the OVA 
episode with shampoo and the jewel that changes her so she doesnt like ranma, 
whatever it is called, and as you know there is a shower scene with lots of 
shampoo boobage. now back to the real email....) they seemed kind of fine 
with it, said it was ok since it wasnt porn just a bit of nudity and it was 
cartoon at that. So that was the start of my REAL anime fandom.heh. And to 
this day my parents are fine with it (and my sister who is 15 loves it too 
much IMHO. she draws it (and actually pretty decently) ALL the time even at 
bloody school! [not that I have anything against drawing anime, I wish I 
could myself, but at school....],  So Im like...uhh.....yaaaa......)
