Mom's just glad I have a hobby, these days... When I first started watching 
Ranma, I tried to get her and my stepdad to watch it with me. I guess I 
underestimated the amount of glomping in Happosai's intro episode... my bad. 
They... weren't impressed. Since then I've shared some of the 'tamer' stuff 
with Mom, and she sits through it with grace and no complaints.

Dad, however, is slowly becoming a Miyazaki fan, because I rented 
Mononoke-hime when it first came out on video and we watched it halfway 
through before it was time to go back to Mom's (ah, the joys of joint-custody 
>_>). He actually insisted that the next time I came to visit, we had to 
finish the movie... and he NEVER cares about finishing movies!
