oh really? I personally really liked 2040. I think the animation is quite 
good quality, the story good, and the characters fun. My friend just bought 
the whole thing on DVD and I am always over there moochin off of him and his 
BGC 2040. I must agree though that the original is good, Ive a watched a few 
episodes on the Encore Action channle when they showed them.  Ive noticed 
that 2040 has taken a bit from the original. Like in one episode of 2040 
there is a renagade boomer that is kind of like a car that drives around. In 
the original there is a guy that drives this REALLY beefed up car that 
eventually like melds with him or something and he more or less becomes 
another boomer which, as in 2040 must be chased down by Priss and her bike 
(if I remember correctly).
Aynways I like 2040 a bunch (but it could use a bit more nudity if you ask 
me,MUHAHAHA!)
