Hello everbody!

I have been in Hypersleep for a while it seems. Just
got back in from NYC, where I clubbed something
decent, obtained some bootlegged mix tapes, copped
some vinyl...

And on a side trip to Philadelphia's south street, I
obtained some PHAT Ranma posters from a most worthy
Anime spot.

YEAHH!!!

Moving on...

I remember last year we we disscussing the possibility
of Ranma being shown here in the States. Possibly on
Toonami. There was an objection due to the perceived
quality of the animation of the earlier TV eps.

Okay... I challenge anyone to try and wade through the
eps of Dragonball and Gundam.

Hmm, instead of Gundam.. try just DAMNN!!

I mean, those shows have truly horrendous Animation,
making the vast majority of the Ranma eps look like
OAVs. And yet, I am assumming people are still
watching the Toonami programs.

"But Shinobu, the veiwers are loyal fans to the series
who don't mind the quality of the Animation, etc etc
etc.."

Don't worry, Shin-Deezy has the solution. Simply show
the Ranma OAV's on a special airing, and if response
is favorable, then Toonami could begin showing the
series from episode one. And unless my memory escapes
me, the first Eps were fairly decent in terms of
Animation.

My overall point is this

Gundam and Dragonball have shown us the way. There are
no excuses. If we as fans truly believe we should have
Ranma on American TV, then we need to lobby Viz and
Cartoon Network.
