I saw one of Viz's "Art of Ranma 1/2" books in the store yesterday.

The contents appear to be a subset of what's in the Japanese edition "Ranma
1/2 Memorial Book". It's got much of the color art, some of the two page
charts, and the interview with Takahshi. I didn't have time to do a
detailed comparision, but it looked like most of the other black and white
pages were missing: in particular the character profiles and the pages with
a complete index of manga story arcs.  I'm guessing that they skipped that
stuff because (1) it contained lots of tiny Jpanese text mixed with tiny
excerpts from the manga (2) they didn't want to deal with manga they had
not translated yet.

For someone who doesn't have, and can't find the Memorial Book, it's not a
bad deal, but since I've got the Memorial Book, I'm not in a hurry to buy
it.
