If I recall correctly I got to the ML
somewhere around the end of the whole
problem.  I don't really remember all
that well what the reaction was on this
list.  But I was on the FFML at the time
and I do remember that a lot of the
enmity there was due to the problem that
Brad brought up, and I'd imagine that
there was some of that here too really.
