I'd try www.amazon.com and www.rightstuf.com, as general and anime/manga
specific sources, first. It's a little soon to decide a US release
is out of print, and if it was intended to be a limited preorder-only
item it got bad publicity. All I've seen is a few print ads. Has anyone
got their hands on it in person? I'd assumed from the little I'd seen
that it was an English edition of the "Ranma 1/2 Memorial Book"
(which I have in Japanese). As an art book and guide to the characters
a lot would translate: but how would Viz deal with refernces to
episodes not yet released here in the USA? One of the most useful
features, for me, of the Memorial Book, was the guide to all the
manga story arcs with the Japanese chapter and volume numbers.
Viz can't do a complete cross-reference of the English release
since it is not done yet.
