Hi all...  I the first DVD for Ranma 1/2 this weekend.  I found it to
be enjoyable, in spite of the fact that Ranma was never in female form for
all three episodes.  Luck of the draw I suppose.  The first episode
was Kodachi meets her father.  In this one Kodachi was rather sedate for
her.  The interaction between Kuno and the Principal was interesting.

I also found the differences between the sub and dub version very
informative.  In fact, I remained in the sub format for the other two.  Even
though I had to go back a lot for the visuals that I kept missing.

The next episode was the entrance of Gosunkugi (finally) which was the most
fun for me. The comedy was pretty spot on for me.

The third on was the martial arts caligraphy which didn't impress me much.

For what it worth, Im rating this at 3 out of 5 for me, with the second
episode, first, and third in that order of enjoyment.
