Tsk, tsk, tsk, well, for most episodes, I can't deny it, but honestly, the 
mags at the time were talking a lot about those series, and I hope it 
means something. 
Besides, there wasn't much to watch at the time. Silent Moebius, Lost 
universe... and that's about it. Oh yes, Lodoss too.
Are those series translated yet? I don't think so.
Now, what did we have at the time running late night? Trigun, Lain, Weiss 
Kreuz... all of them already translated. Do I see a pattern? ^_^

I guess popularity in Japan is somewhat complicated. We should take the 
video sales into account, too.
Now, to find a site that has such infos available...

(still reading the mail backlog... if someone already said that, sorry)
