Yeah, well theres more than enough bad pc to console & visaversa ports out
there to match each other...
Bleugh.

Yeah well as we all know ( SOOO ESPECIALLY where pc's are concerned )
'technically superior' doesn't always acheive better results, and in the
case of pc games can -sometimes- just lead programmers to become lazy and
make higher system demands than is truly nessicary....

Guess is right. It sure -sounds- powerful. But so do many pcs compared to a
dreamcast, and dead as it may be, 'ooh-pretty!' wise it certainly can scare
some high end pcs with some of the things it shows off.
Sometimes.

>Not that I'm getting one... it's still a console, after all.

Yeah, well I'm a console weenie, and I'm still hesitent.
It DOES have appeal to the unwashed masses as a cheap PC however....
Me, I sadly caved and finally bough an old hunk of junk pc for about the
equiv of ... $70 us, and basically got a starcraft playin' box with enough
space for all of those -classic- old pc games like ufo and starcon2.....
Ah well, the classics -were- kinda worthwhile, even worth the stigma I give
myself for owning a PC *grin*

Intersting point for reference....the N64 was theoretically MUCH more
powerful than the PSX, and look who won...
And the gameboy inferior to the psx, and it beat that and the 64
combined.....
Who can really predict the trends till they happen, eh?

If I see it, I -will- be wowed...
