    Lucia, bleh...  She's not even that cute.  A poor character to choose
for gratitous nude scenes.

    Ranma has shown some amazing aiming skills at various points of the
manga.

    I'm pretty sure the reason why people like Ranma and Ryouga chooses to
go hand-to-hand is not that they don't know how to use a weapon, but rather
they don't want to be dependent on it.

    As for your fencing question, I'm pretty sure that if there is some
ultra powerful school out there, then they'd just send those guys to compete
for fencing tournaments.  So no, I'd say whatever training you get for the
sporting event is probably as good as it'll get.  Same with the various
hand-to-hand sporting events.  If there's some school out there that's
better than what you can get on a national team for Olympics, then people'd
just send those guys instead.
