    Well, consider most of the time people use them to show off their
Japanese skills, I'm not too surprised.

    I think this is one part of Ranma 1/2 that it's very hard to actually
write about.  The fighting nature is very comedic in nature, but fanfics
aren't usually as comedic.  How do you seriously write about something
that's not meant to be taken seriously?

    Well, if you play the Japanese version, you'd know her as Cherubina.
She's the girl whose eyes are perpetually closed, and pilots the  Dolphin
Mech (yeah it had some other name, Watersomething I believe).  She's of the
water attribute, supposedly the brains behind the Elements (not to be
confused with Tolone, who is super smart but doesn't seem to have any
decision making ability).

    The sketch of her wearing an apron, serving food, beginning a sentence
with "Ala, ala..." is really scary.
