C'mon. Yours do fit this definition of "cheeseball", but they're not 
unbearable. Heck, I probably even have them untouched somewhere on 
my HD. (At least the Wedding series. Even the homo lemon... I think)

You wouldn't believe the time I spend correcting and modifying the 
japanese flying around there... I used to include the corrections in the C&C 
I send, but it seems it's only getting on one's nerves, so I have my own 
versions for the really annoying ones...

About the Fanfic That Should Not Have Been Posted (But Now It's Already 
There So What The Heck, We'll Call It Fair Game For Just This Once)

Well, I'll follow the trademark notice about Akane and Ranma Fighting.
I can see where this fic in an Anti-Akane one, considering the overdoing in 
violence and the malevolent intent of the fight...
Akane scoring a clean mallet hit on Ranma is ONLY used for comic relief. 
Whenever it's serious, a hurt look or, at worst, a slap does the job very 
nicely.  (see Ryouga intro, among others)
On second thoughts, scratch that. You don't acknowedge Akane & 
Ranma loving each others, so you shouldn't concern yourself about it.

Aside from that... you don't overdo it in descriptions, which is good.
All in all, a nice start, if short. I'm more used to long installments...
