Manga/anime:
>Manga is pretty much a whole different world from Anime.
Quite so. Even if it weren't for the difference in product...
Considering the stuffs cost pretty much outside Japan (well, there are
exceptions) fans tend to focus on one of them. I know a few that buy both,
but those just have way too much money. ^_~
Or they know the right corean/taiwanese/ftp sites ^_^
Otoh, anime fans tend to stand on one serie and stick to it. Ask the
Anime Club how many times we wished we could throw the Fushigi Yuugi
fans out... nothing worse than screeches of "Fuujigi Yuuuugeeeee" coming
from two whole rows in the middle of the room whenever the laptop guy
wants to show us fan artworks...
I mean, it's been 2 freaking years. Move on or something...
>I can assure you most anime fans probably have never even heard of the
>most 5 or so popular manga series I see in stores regularly.
*snickers* most fanboys either, but that's a cheap one. I'm dropping the
issue this instant...
>"Longer RPGs are, by definition, better RPGs, because they're, um...
>longer."
Xenogear... Shining Force 3... Far East of Eden 2... Lunar 2... FFT...
Hey, it's almost true ^_^
