Greets to all you RanmaMLers out there.

Got a crossover fanfic idea that I thought might be fun to argue about
(unless of course a fic already exists.) Was bored this week so I rented out
the first four tapes of the TV series 'Monkey' which I used to watch when I
was a li'l tyke - pressed 'play' and let all the memories come flooding
back. Anyone remember it? Got me thinking though - Team Ranma vs. Monkey and
friends - an idea, you might say, who's time has come... >:)

*laughs maniacally and queues intro theme*

Somehow, Ranma and cursed co get transported back through time, searching
for the springs of Jusenkyo, in an attempt to reverse their curses before
the flooding of the springs at the end of volume 38. Instead they first come
across four pilgrims who claim to be searching for india, to retrieve
scriptures which will save the world. Egos clash quickly between Ranma
Saotome, master of Indiscriminate Grappling and King Monkey (Great Sage:
Equal of Heaven). Ranma may very well have met his match against a foe who
is not only immortal, strong as stone and possessing the deadly Wishing
Staff but hosts a range of ingenius and awe-inspiring tricks as well. Ranma
prides himself on mastering any technique and finding a way to any opponents
weak spot but can he master the hallowed Headache Sutra??

Meanwhile, it's pork Vs. pork as the Pig-god Pigsy of the Heavenly Host
challenges one Ryoga Hibiki, no fixed address. Both have the strength and
skill to make the fight a colossal one, but can Ryoga possibly defeat the
god of his cursed race? Can Pigsy possibly stop chasing after Shampoo for
long enough to knock the lost boy down???

*Vigil suddenly pictures a meeting between Pigsy and Happosai. Vigil laughs
maniacally again.*

Meanwhile Sandy, Kappa and water demon is left to face Mousse, master of
hidden weapons. Both masters of wu-shu and fast and agile fighters, the
fight has promise, on land or on sea.

So, send your comments and thoughts on what would or could happen if the
Nerima crew met Nippon TV's favourite reincarnation of an old chinese folk
story. I'm bored and could do with a chuckle or two.. :)

"Buddha tells us that drink, all to often, unlocks the beast in man. But
when the drink is cold water, who knows what transformations may take place?
Pigsy is in trouble - perhaps some timely downpour is just what he needs..."
