I don't really think Ukyou is the best.  I don't think there IS a best.
They're all great!

I love Ukyou for her sweetness, Shampoo for her nievite' (spelling?<g>)
Nabiki for her wisdom and self-control, Akane for her kindness to others,
Kodachi for her zannyness, Kasumi for her Zen-Tao outlook on life, and
Nodoka 'cause she gots the katana, man!! <g>

Sorry, Akane-chan, that you don't like Ranma and Akane together.  <g>  But
Takahashi obviously wanted it that way, whether any of us like it or not.
<g>  As to Nabiki and Ranma (ugh)  I don't think Nabiki feels Ranma is
smart enough and Ranma hates Nabiki most likely. They COULD do it . . . but
not without a few YEARS to change their views on each other.  Feelings like
that don't change overnight! <g>
