I've finally made it back from holiday and business trips, and all
sorts of things have been happening, I see.

Stiffanie: Very sad to see you go, you will be missed here, at least
by me. One less supporter for Ranma. But on the bright side I see
that you've released the final parts of 'Waiting For You'!. Whee,
something good for me to read and index. Wherever you go and
whatever you do, I wish you luck.

Fanfic assignment. Nice to see that someone has stepped into the
breach. Thanks GP. I'll read the story, index it and wait eagerly
for your questions.

Ranma and the Nannichuan: Well, Takahashi certainly implies (she
may actually state in an interview) that the Nannichuan will cure
Ranma's curse. Unfortunately the Manga as written tends to contradict
that. The only case I can think of of a cursed individual being
splashed by another spring is Taro, and in his case, the springs
effects merged. But he only splashed his back, you say?. Well in
that case, why didn't the skin on his back turn into octopus
skin?. There's also the instant Nannichuan water. In this case it
did seem to temporarily cure the curse. But we have no proof that
this stuff is at all related to the spring water, except by name. One
thing that we can say is that if some Nannichuan water had come in
Ranma's posession during the events of the Manga, the one thing that
definitely would NOT happen is a cured Ranma :-) Something would
have happened to screw things up... Those springs did whatever
Takahashi wanted them to.

Dons Chrono-cross/Ranma crossover. Sounds like a great story idea.
I'd love to read it if you do write it. Go for it!
