Comparing both...

Well, we'll have to wait another 2 weeks to know for sure, but I fear that 
both series will be very similar. (as in too similar)
We couldn't avoid Gappei as Inuyasha - heck, the guy has to have had
EVERY single role for Ranma type characters those last 10 years. 
Espescially in video games...

But well. Another bad point for the comparison, Noriko will voice Kikyou, 
so it'll probably feel like "Ranma and Akane, 10 years later"...
The fans are going to go crazy I tell you.

Like Lori, I feel that it will be very interesting to see how they convert it 
from the manga. And if they let as much horror happen.

And what about the humor? Slapstick... we're in old grounds.

Last but not least, how long will they produce it??? Inuyasha has a story 
that allows a LOT of filler episodes. But it also has a strong "redline" as a 
guide through the adventures. 

I hope for the best (really I do) but...
