I wasn't sure, myself, and I won't say if I have been here longer than
anyone if I am not sure (my memory being as faulty as it sometimes
is; thank goodness for books and computer to help me remember ^_^)

Well, the Urusei Yatsura ML has been around for awhile (I joined that shortly
before I joined this one; I joined both while still on my Commodore C64
(ah, the joys of 1200 baud websurfing on Freenet....doubleplusbleh ^_^)
I am still on that one, and it has (understandably) been slow, the messages
coming in groups (or singly), every few days, and mostly discussion on
web-sites, as far as I can see, that deal with UY. I think that will eventually

die off, simply because there isn't very much new blood (if any) coming
into the group (well, unless Viz starts the series up again (not likely
at this point, unless it is an anthology), or Animeigo picks up the pace of
releases (even more doubtful). Ah well, such is life, I guess...The eagles
got tired of waiting and flew off to greener pastures (such as Inuyasha
and Evangelion).

If all this is from Chrono Cross, I am REALLY going to have to get this
when it comes out here....sounds quite good to have that big an impression...

Shinobu;

Most of us here have probably had at least a few acquaintences who didn't
quite understand our enjoyment of what they thought of as either "That
Speed Racer stuff" or, more recently, "That kiddie porn". I just take it in
stride (and introduced a few of my co-workers to anime); very hard to
change a person's opinion if their minds are too set in their ways (age
has little to do with this; my late mother enjoyed Ranma and UY,
(and Riding Bean; reminded her of The Blues Brothers ^_^), and she
lived til' last year, aged 65 years....problem with 38 is that it doesn't
seem like it's been nearly a year... Ah well, in any case, if someone
thinks something wrong with what you watch and enjoy, show 'em,
but if they still don't buy it, don't sweat it, it's their loss, and perhaps
there are other interests in addition to anime/manga you share with
'em.

As usual, this is The Relic, from the outer fringes of the Reality
that is the Ranma ML (and feelin' a little too melancholy these
days......)
