    The explosives used in Ranma 1/2 and most Anime are such that they
actually aren't strong enough to blow off your body parts even though no
matter how hard you train, your body is only as strong as the material it's
made out of, and carbon-based flesh is simply not strong enough to withstand
an explosion.

    In real life, even if you somehow have Ranma's speed and power, you'll
still get machine gunned to death pretty easily.  It's only in Ranma 1/2 and
similar environments where you can have bullets bounce off people, and
explosives somehow not strong enough to blow apart materials that should not
be able to withstand it.

    I suppose they'd make good assassins... though it seems like you're
better off with the regular special forces, because it's easier to train
someone so that they know how to use guns and whatnot, than whatever you're
supposed to do to get someone of Ranma 1/2 power level.
