Whuzzup. I'm sittin here listenin to the Hott Boys, a
New Orleans based Hip-Hop group, thinking about
things. ya know, Ranma and stuff. Oh, BTW, Los Angeles
put out Portland, so It's gonna be Indiana vs L.A.
Lakers. Gravy!! Indy can show those cats how to REALLY
play basketball...

The Relic, aka Mr Spillman-
So I, at 38, have not forgotten (and there are older
Ranma fans). No, as long as you enjoy your anime
sunny-side up, you will not forget.

** Smiles ***
Thanks. Sometimes, I feel pressure from my friends or
family to give up my Anime/Manga habit. Where I'm
from, it's not all that usual to enjoy Anime as much
as I do. Maybe cos folks around my way don't
understand it.

** Haplo gives a grim smile **
That's why Haplo means "Single", cos I tend to be the
Black Sheep when it comes to certain things. Hell,
I'll be 100 years old, trying to take notes on how to
properly steal panties...

Shinobu: Oh great master Happosai, your student bows
before you oh great and TERRIBLE master...

Son of Washu-
>This has got me thinking, the whole, "Will Ranma
>last?"
>What if it didn't, could you imagine the loss to
>future generations?

It's not corny, in fact, you were reading my mind.
Ranma 1/2 DOES have a lot to offer the next gen. of
fans. I think the biggest positive thing about the
series is the way it brings people together.
I've made so many new friends, on this ML and in RL,
but I've only scratched the surface. I haven't made
any trips to Anime conventions or anything, but I'll
start doing that too once the time is right.

I went into a local comic store to see what new
Graphic novels they had, and I ended up defending
Ukyo's engagement!! (^_^) About four people and I
discussed Ranma for about a good 45 minutes. It's
Amazing sometimes. I'm Black, two guys were White,
there was a Puerto Rican shopkeeper, and a Korean
female customer. Now that's race relations for ya!!

>if I stop to ponder it, I realize how many things in
>my life were shaped by Ranma 1/2 in some way, from
>injokes to long roadtrips.
>I hope someone had microfiched it somewhere, or stuck
>it in one a those timevault thingies. If anything
>deserved to be preserved by the Seldon
>Foundation it is this.

I understand you perfectly. As for the storage, I was
considering how to perserve my Ranma collection. How
about DVD?? or maybe I would have to retape my tapes
in 20-30 years. I Dunno.

** Ranma is standing on the side of a loney strech of
Highway. The desert surrounds him on all sides.
Suddenly, a car appears. ***

Female Driver: Excuse me...

Are those Wrangler jeans you're wearing??

Ranma: Uh, sure.. I guess.

Female Driver: Okay, Thanks.

** The driver burns rubber as she swings back on to
the desert blacktop. Ranma facefaults to the pavement.
