With the first sentences going along "I have to see HER." I kind
of got who it was.  I've finished the whole first part, the
"Cast a Long Shadow"?  That was BAD-ASS!!  I'm still trying
to decide if like Old-Ranma or New-Ranma better.  See,
Old Ranma has still got the "Hell yeah" attitude, but
New Ranma has a sense of humor.  A GOOD one, and he
and Ryouga can just yuuk it up and I LIKE that. ^_^

HELL Yeah!!  I've always had this idea of Ranma as even though he's
not exactly Mr.Pimpster here.. (okay, some would argue he is, but
he's about as chaste as the come) he still would be the take-charge
kind of man once he got.... er... started ^_^.

Ranmascan.org?  Where do you think I got the whole TWO BOOKS under
my belt.  I'm on the 19th book right now.  I'm poor white trash *le sigh* so
I have no money.  I could probably beg and plead, but if I got a manga that
would mean no money for midnight bowling, Whataburger, and the all important
movie theaters.  Sorry, I love Ranma, but I can't make that kind of
sacrifice!  I MUST HAVE THEM BOTH!! *giggles*

I read a story about that too.  It was really very good.  *blinks*
Who wrote it..?  Oh yes, I THINK it was Lord Archive.  Anyway,
every one under the Ranmaverse sun in the right age group was put
into ONE class at the begining of the year.  So Mousse, Ryouga
and Ranma were put into gym class together... and well, as gym
conversations go..... ^_^;  It was a GOOD story though.  I thought
it was funny.. (The part where Kodachi froke Mikado with her famous
roses and doodled "Hentai" and other words on his forehead with
Marks-A-Lot markers.. Then Hiroshi and Daisuke scribble some rainbows
and flowers and stuff... ^_^)

Well, it depends on the situation.  If any chick comes at you with a knife,
gun, or other sharp-pointy-thing, I say knock the hell out of her. 
Brandishing a weapon shows an intent to kill/maim/injure, and then your life
becomes at risk.  So that means it's time to defend yourself.

If a chick bitch smacks you for being a jack-ass, (weither you were or
not)  As long as she is only going to give you a few bruises, you take
your lumps, and run like a mofo ^_^.

Mel-wuss hit me once, and he got his butt kicked.  Of course,
I didn't do it, I was too busy crying. >_<;  Uber-violent Crissy and
Christine did.  And of course Robbie, (the only guy at our table)
just sat there.  I was like "this is not cool!"

Actually, as Nabiki put it in a story I read once, "People forget that

Akane can defend herself very well.  She WAS the best in Nerima, after
all.  It's just, when Ranma is as good as he is, his main competition
is going to be near his level.  So when they all follow him in town...

It's like me going up against a Grammy winner.  It's not saying
I'm not good on my own, and that I can't HOLD my own, but competitng
with THEM I'm screwed.

My idea was that more like Kuno doesn't actively seek to transform
Ranma, because it's harder that way for him to just actively ignore
the curse.  It's hard to put my thoughts into words.

Kuno knows, and is trying to hide it.  As stupid as every one thinks
he is, it's still hard to pull tricks like that repeatedly. And
ignore the obvious shift in form.  Even the best actors can't
do it all the time. =0P

of Ranma as the exception to the rule.  That means Ranma is wrong.

And Akane doesn't think Ryouga is a pervert.  So what does that have to say
about _her_ stereotypes?

It's more of "the such" variety.  Ranma's lumped together in the
group of "all the people he should have beaten"  Which means,
Ranma's the only guy who's beat him so far.  In Kuno's logic,
that means something is wrong.    Same thing with the women.

Ranma's options are(didn't say they were good though):

1.) Dodge
Akane would just keep swinging.  Once he gets hit she'll feel better.
*Shrugs* it's only going to make it worse.

2.) Block
Akane's going to get doubly pissed as above.  More smack-downs.

3.) Run
He'll get it sooner or later.  Then he'll get it from Genma from running
like a wussy boy. From Ryouga for not facing Akane when he's done something
wrong, and quite possibly a Demon Head from Soun.

4.) Strike back
World War Three.

5.) Take it.
Akane cools down, he takes a hit far less than what he took on a day to day
basis for 10 years, and they go on almost as normal.
