I think you are exaggerating here. I don't think the future of anime
in America rests on a single show, and I think it's a stretch to call
Tenchi Muyo "adult". It's more so than Pokemon, but it's not
essentially either intellectually challenging, nor does it contain
much material that would have to be PG-rated ... maybe more jokes
about nudity and sake drinking, but nothing really very threatening.
