According to http://www.nausicaa.net it's set to be released on June 13 on
VHS and DVD. Although I have heard from several sources that the DVD
version will be delayed to include "special features".

If you have a good teacher or are extremely intelligent and dedicated
enough to do it on your own, you can be writing and speaking simple
Japanese phrases in little under a year. To learn it well enough to hold a
small conversation, probably around two years.  Though it depends on the
person. I study Japanese at the college I go to.

Are you talking about Gosunkugi? Yeah, I don't see why not. And he was in
the video game for SNES too. Man, that was a pretty bad game. :P

The current big anime movie that is showing is X, from the artists Clamp
who produced Magic Knight RayEarth (sp?). It just started showing in
theatres last week supposedly. You can check out movie listings at

Mirimax is aslo planning to release a few of Miyazaki's other movies. I
think the next big one is either Castle in the Sky or Lupin III:
Castle of Cagliostro, but I am just guessing.

Tenchi Muyo begins on Cartoon Network June 5, and will run through all
three series - Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo, and Tenchi OVA - in that 
order. This is the same day that Cartoon Network plans to release a brand
new, expanded Toonami.
