Hey everybody, how'ze it goin'??

Rodrick Swee-
>I know that Ranma has done things that are bad. But I
>also know that he has done good deeds. What boils my
>blood is when people look at and keep going
>on on all the bad things and dismiss everything good
>that he's done. Ranma isn't a saint, maybe in another
>life.

I agree with ya here. Most of the time, Ranma isn't
even startin any beef. Ryoga, Mousse, Kuno or some
damn body comes after Ranma, for crimes real and
imagined! (^_^)

Kuno: How good of you to join us...

Like the old sayin goes, Don't start none, won't be
None!!

Ranma could be in the good ol' U S of A, and still get
blamed for some stuff! I don't blame 'em when he says,

"What have I done now?!?"

If Ranma just learned to eat Akane's Homecooking,
He'd be gravy. Well, besides the whole fiance thing...

>Enjoying being a girl or enjoying the benefits a girl
>gets. How often does Ranma wear a dress just for the
>fun of it?

Ranma doesn't hesitate to use his girl form to get
revenge or to torment someone. But what's up with his
contest with Tsubasa?? If he truly was a man trapped
in a girls body, why would he care WHAT tsubasa said?
(Tsubasa called Ranma-female ugly.)

Look, dudes around my way don't CARE about who's the
cutest. (Except the prettyboys, but that's another
topic) I could understand if Ranma was a boy when
Tsubasa called him Non-cute. I'd get upset, maybe.

I just can't understand...

My point is that maybe Ranma becomes more of a female
than ya might think.

Mark-San-
>Take away all the catalysts around Ranma. Take away
>the fiance's, Akane's suitors, and Ranma's various
>rivals, and what are you left with? It's
>like, if everybody would just leave Ranma alone, he'd
>have nothing to fight for and no chances to display
>any of his "good" qualities.

I gotta disagree here. (^_^)
Removing Ranma's extraordinary circumstances doesn't
mean he's not a good person at heart. Arrogant at
times, but still a good guy.

Check the Manga where he delivers Eels given to him by
Doc Tofu.
Or in the HSH arc, when Ranma accidentally hits the
lil' tyke with his fist. Now substitute a fist with a
bike or a car. Ranma still shows concern for the young
guy.
I study Ninjutsu. I haven't fought anyone since I was
17. (I'm now 23)
Just because I'm not fighting with people, or I don't
have any Akane's to save, doesn't mean I'm not a good
person. That's not a fair test, to define me by Dress,
my speech, or my (Non-existant) fighting ability.

Ranma's total command of his art suggests that he long
ago internalized the principals of the Anything Goes
School. The Art doesn't control him, it's the other
way around. Sometimes those of us in the Martial Arts
tend to forget that truth. (^_^)

So what if he never lost any "Martial Art" anything??
He's not the one initiating the beat downs, he's
reacting to situations forced, more or less upon him.
And so, his body and fighting spirit responds
appropriately. It's all Gravy.

My Bag for the size of this post.
Peace everybody. It's all good Mark-San, keep those
posts coming!!

Shinobu.
SAUCE-man .
