Hmm...seems my joke feel on deaf ears. Ah, it was obscure to be sure.

To Shoryu:

Frankly, I don't buy it. It just sounds too pitiful to be coming from a
person who is supposedly known for being hard on the new people. Could it
be you're just looking for a reason to leave? I could understand that...

Anyway, I've been thinking (Saotome, *snigger*). I was looking up some of
the debates about Shampoo's hair on the FAQ, and I think maybe I have some
new information that might be helpful.

I was watching anime fansub series called "Blue-Green Years" (boring as
hell, by the way). It's not the actual title of the series, but the show
goes into great detail about how the Japanese view the colors Blue and
Green. It went on to say that, in America, a Japanese person would call
our "green" traffic lights blue. Furthermore, the two colors are,
supposedly, often used interchangeably as the same color.

Taking this into consideration, Shampoo's hair color, which may look blue
to us, wouldn't be the same color that a Japanese person calls blue. Her
hair would look more greenish instead.

So finally, Shampoo's hair would be called purple according to (as
someone mentioned) Rumiko Takahashi herself and many other Japanese
people. Taking this into consideration, I am casting my vote in favor of
PURPLE as Shampoo's hair color.

:P - Thppppt.
