<Brad, who I envy because of all his Nadesico collection *grin*>

and you were really hurting for that Misamaru Yurika UFO-catcher doll of mine,
weren't you? ^_^ THAT'S why you're depressed....

Make certain one of those friends either doesn't like anime, or actively WANTS
to be in charge of the business end of it. If you're all anime fans, one or
more of you will get bitter if forced to spend much of your time running the
non-anime aspects of the company. 'By fans for fans' is great for fansubs, and
I realize that one complaint against the larger companies is that they're more
concerned about the bottom line now, but there's no point in starting your own
business only to have it fold in 2 years due to negligence or mismanagement.

(note: this didn't happen to me personally, but a close friend of mine had this
problem when he was owner, CEO, sole worker, etc. of the business he started.
He went from loving what he did to practically hating it,))

That means hiring new people, and they're probably only willing to do that for
a runaway moneymaker like Pokerat. The credits for most of their manga and
anime read pretty much the same.

Where's DNA^2 after all this time? Where's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? The
whole Nadia series?
