I cut AnimEigo a lot of slack because of their (1) pricing on box sets
(2) excellent liner notes (3) interest in producing long series
in significant-sized chunks.

Their rate of DVD production _is_ disappointingly slow to date.

I got the KOR LD box set: 48 TV episodes, for a bit over $400,
in two 6 disk installements. That's about $8-9 per episode.

As I recall Robert Woodhead was estimating about $10 per episode
as a ballpark price for DVD sets.

The Macross preorder price is down to $280 for 36 episodes.
or $7.77/episode.

(VHS sets are also available for preorder, it looks like.)
