 Think about that. If the big, slow, lumbering companies like Viz
suck up all the popular titles' licensing rights, then how can
the aforementioned other houses release them? (Aside from RRK,
which no one seems to want to touch with a ten foot pole.)
Viz may have the best titles, but that means jack if they don't
release stuff frequently. Frankly, if they ate up fewer titles,
more stuff would be released because numerous smaller houses could
snap up the rights and produce translations in a timely manner.
 Of course, in some cases, this is the fault of the licensor, not
the licensee. End of Evangelion comes to mind. (What's
Gainax asking for that? $5 million?) In the case of some
of those smaller houses you mentioned, they don't have the
capital to buy the rights to distribute the more popular titles.
