>Ranma GN #15 is due in May with IY#6 and the Last MI GN.

So you're saying that the turnaround from the last MI comic to the last GN is
going to be about 4 months, while it's about a year for Ranma? Pfeh.
Something stinks here.

[wait- didn't you unsub last year? What brought you back?]

>I think it has more to do with the waning popularity of Ranma--Viz

>(someone please tell them to join the rest of the companies in

>Ranma has been over and finished in Japan for quite a while

As to your last (and first) point, I don't know if that really applies since we
rarely have any members coming from there anyway- most of us come from the US
(I'm not forgetting or ignoring the other countries), and Ranma is still
popular here, if the number of websites is any indication (or sales of non-Viz
dependent merchandise).

Perhaps it's the ML medium itself that's losing popularity for a bit- real-time
message boards seem to be more popular right now and are easily accessible from
a simple link on a webpage. I know Frank's MB is doing well, and Esashi's MB
(though not Ranma-centered) is at the volume that the ML used to be at.

Or it could be that people just aren't finding out about the ML in numbers like
they used to. Advertising and all that.

About the anti-Viz stuff, what can I say, since you know I agree with you? Viz
still thinks it's 1992 and they're the only game in town. Didn't someone here
even experience their fan-snubbing firsthand with something that ended up
essentially as "Go to hell, we're Viz?"

I think their main problem is overextension- too many series, too many
magazines, too much anime to handle.
