On The Subject of Whether Akane Knows That Ryoga is P-chan:

Perhaps the thought has crossed her mind that they might be the same. After
all, 
she's had plenty of evidence. Many are the times that Ryoga has disappeared 
almost out from under her nose, and P-chan has suddenly shown up. Equally
many 
are the times that Ranma has slyly addressed Ryoga as "P-chan" in front of
her, 
to the tune of much defensiveness on Ryoga's part. Maybe it has occurred to
her. 
But if so, then the notion is so distasteful to her that she suppresses it
and 
rationalizes her way around it, as she did several times in the Mark of the
Gods 
arc. It's amazing the convolutions of logic people will go through to make
the 
data fit their preconceived or preferred ideas.
