I used to keep up with who owned ranma.com, .net, and .org.  Back when you could
pull more information out of NetworkSolution's WhoIs Database, I found that
ranma.com was registered to that guy way back in '95.  It appears that he's just
reregistering it just to hang onto it.

It used to point to viz.com, believe it or not.  Not sure why it doesn't anymore.

The fact that it doesn't point to Viz's site anymore tells me that it wasn't
registered by someone at Viz as I had previously thought.  Interesting.

Ranma.org is registered to some kid out in California that was selling illegal
burned copies of the Ranma PSX game (Battle Rennisance) on eBay.  He started to
build a pretty impressive Ranma site, but just stopped building it halfway
through.  Lame.

I know little about ranma.net.  I know that those guys are holding onto it, in
case someone wants to pay big bucks for it someday (like ranma.com, I suspect).
Keep in mind that there's other uses for the net besides the web.  You can
register a domain name and just use it for email, newsgroups, telnet servers, FTP

servers, or whatever and not necessarily have a web site.  It could possibly only

be used to just point somewhere, like ranma.com used to.

But then again, it could be doing just nothing.

IIRC, you're the only other person I've ever run into that can't stand Ryoga
either.  Strange.  ^_^

I think it's a fair replacement.  It doesn't sound too far off from the original
Kodachi.  Given the resources they had (and the fact that they had to deal with
Teryl leaving), I think they pulled it off pretty well.
