Why not?  Okay, fine, I admit it, I *haven't* read WUE as thoroughly as
I would have liked to.  I basically just browsed/skimmed through it.
But I *do* plan to read it as thoroughly as possible when I get the
time, and it's definitely at the top of my to-do list.

But nevertheless, I did get a good idea of its main plot, and the fact
that it's Alan Harnum's work only makes me love it even more, because
the writing is just so splendid!  I could spend hours quoting my
favorite lines in WUE, but I suppose no one would appreciate hearing me
yakk on about it... ^_^

I just love the ending!  I'm a sucker for tragic endings.  Just as big a
sucker for romantic stories, too.  But he (Harnum) sure left a lot of
things untold, right?  Like, who is Ryouga's wife?  Don't tell me it's
Akane, or I'll scream! ^_^  And I just can't help wondering if Ranma's
child is a son or a daughter?  Did Akane marry someone else?

Oh, well.  It's *still* a great story!  ^_^
