Got home from the capital today (Ottawa, not Toronto; Toronto's where I
got home to), and had a great new year's despite Jenn not having the
Fushigi Yuugi tapes. Had a party at Caleb's place, then most of us (all
the Toronto people plus Caleb and two other guys) spent that night and
the next there... Saturday we didn't emerge at all except for breakfast
at one and then we stayed downstairs untill about four when everyone was
starting to go crazy...

And I don't think any of us were really disappointed that the world
didn't decide to end. It was rather anti-climatic, though.

Shadow:
"I wonder how many Christains are dissapointed that Christ did not come
back and start the Apocalypse."

People are talking about how the millennium doesn't start 'till next
year, but if we're talking 2000 years from the birth of Christ, we
already missed it, eh, he was born somewhere between 4 and 6 BC.

Robert:
"I know the date when Jesus is coming back, but I'm not telling. :-0"

-Why not?
-It's a secret.
-NO, IT ISN'T! YOU JUST DON'T KNOW!

I like Calvin and Hobbes. Bill Watterson really should publish some
more work, and it's a shame that Schulz is out now, too. Well, Lynn
Johnson's still going!

Benzaiten on something I understand!:
"there's only so much bell-ringing a person can perform at one stretch."

Oh, that depends. I've done my fair share, eh. Been moved down to bass
^_^, meaning more and heavier bells to work with. Fortunately my wrist
doesn't hurt anymore...
Applied for a retail job recently, woman told me that it would involve a
lot of standing for long periods of time, as well as lifting heavy
objects for setup and closing and such... I thought to myself, nothing
new, I'm a bell ringer, we do that all the time... ^_~
